WELCOME TO JOHN JOHNSON WILLOUGHBY POST

As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
 

Announcements

On Saturday 1/31/2026, I received an email from Commander Mark Case. He expressed the need to take a step back from his duties as Commander of VFW Post 1500 effective immediately. Commander Case has faithfully and tirelessly performed his duties as Commander for the past 2.5 years. Prior to being nominated as Commander, he served as the post's Quartermaster. Commander Case's accomplishments are too many to list, but he selflessly took time out of his personal life to make sure the post was in tip top shape. Trust me, his absence will be noticed. I would personally like to thank Commander Case for his service to our great country and our post. Per the constitution and by-laws of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, I have assumed the duties as post Commander.

I would like to welcome everyone to our website VFW1500.org.  This is to keep members informed of post events, and as an advertising tool to attract new members. Thank You to Machelle Poldiak for her efforts to make this happen.
 
Mondays are Wing Nite, $1/bone, minimum 8.

Taco Tuesday. Taco salad $7, Walking Taco $5, soft/hard taco $2.00.
 
Family Meal Wednesdays. $10 Homestyle meals. Change Weekly
